You can compensate for any inconsistency in the length of a printed image by
adjusting the output dimensions. Such inconsistencies can occur as a result of a particular
combination of printer and media.
The C:\Program Files
(x86)\Fiery\Components\Fiery XF\Samples folder contains the file Lineal_01.ps. It
consists of a set of ruler markings for a length and width of 0.5 m x 0.5 m.
- Print out the file Lineal_01.ps and measure the
length of the ruler markings.
-
Do one of the following:
-
In Server Manager: On the sidebar, click Printers, and select a printer. In the
printer's tree view, select a media. On the Media tab, expand the
Media Correction panel.
-
In Job Editor: On the Media tab, expand the
Media Correction panel.
-
Under Media feed adjustment, type the target length
and the actual length.

length correction into the calibration file.
