Configure virtual printers
A virtual printer enables you to print to Command WorkStation through the print command of the graphics program.
-
Make sure that you have already configured a hot folder.
-
Make sure that Command WorkStation is started. Otherwise, the printer is not listed in the print dialog box of the graphics program.
Settings you make in the print dialog box, such as the number of printed copies, overwrite the equivalent setting in Command WorkStation.
-
Make sure the virtual printer is configured for printer sharing in the operating system. Otherwise, the virtual printer cannot be detected in the network.
-
If the Fiery XF server and the graphics program are installed on different computers, add the virtual printer as a new printer.
