In the advanced settings, you select a reference profile, and ensure that the recommended ink limits are within the optimum range.

1. Select a reference profile (optional).

   Selecting a reference profile limits the available color gamut because the L*a*b* target values are extracted from the profile. Media profiles created from such calibration files are a better match for the reference profile.

   If you do not select a reference profile, an appropriate industry standard is applied instead.

2. Ensure that the displayed ink limits are within the optimum range.

   The optimum range is represented by the blue area. Move the slide bars, as required.

3. Click OK.
