Fiery ImageViewer toolbar for quick access to common actions

The Fiery ImageViewer toolbar provides quick access to common actions that can be applied to the job. To show or hide the toolbar, press the T key to toggle.

Some toolbar icons are available only if the Fiery server supports them.

Button Description

Save

The Save button saves the current settings for the job.

Duplicate

The Duplicate button duplicates selected pages in the Thumbnails pane.

Delete

The Delete key deletes selected pages in the Thumbnails pane.

Revert

The Revert button reverts to the previous settings for the job.

Proof Print

The Proof Print button prints a single copy or iterative proof of a job directly from Fiery ImageViewer to verify output. Proof print does not save changes if any are made or change the original job.

Magnifier

(Fiery ImageViewer v3) Displays a magnified area of the image around the cursor location that moves with the cursor.

(Fiery ImageViewer v4) Zooms in on the image by a fraction.

Wiper

(Fiery ImageViewer v4) The Wiper button provides split screen on a diagonal, so the user can see the image before and after adjustments are made. The user can pan the image to move the split to before or after correction.

To move or swipe the diagonal on the image, click ctrl+alt for Windows and click cmd+opt for macOS and use the wheel on the mouse to spin the diagonal.

Ruler

The Ruler button displays measuring rulers along the X and Y axes on the sides of the canvas.

Measure

The Measure button activates a measuring tool that allows you to click on two locations in your document. The tool measures the distance and angle between the two points, and the height and width on the X and Y axes.

Preserve Spot Colors

When enabled, spot colors remain unaffected by adjustments to color channel curves. When disabled, spot colors are affected by adjustments to color channel curves.

Rotate

The Rotation button allows you to rotate the Image Preview display in 90-degree increments.

Note: This action does not alter the orientation of the final printing output. Rotation is a global setting that affects all pages within the job.

Mirror

The Mirror button allows you to mirror the image preview horizontally, and to reverse the mirror effect on the image preview.
Note: This action does not alter the final printing output. Mirror is a global setting that affects all the pages within the job.

Local Correction

The Local Correction tool allows you to draw a selection box anywhere on the image to locally make color edits.

The button is available only for the Fiery server that supports the Local Correction feature.
