Connect to or disconnect from a Fiery Central server

When you connect to a Fiery Central server in Command WorkStation, only the Fiery Central server name is shown in the Servers pane. The printer group name will not be displayed.

Command WorkStation 6.7 and later can connect to Fiery Central servers running version 2.9 software and later.

Note: Command WorkStation supports Fiery Central servers with a single printer group. If your Fiery Central server has more than one printer group, only the first group will be available.

When you first add a Fiery Central server to Command WorkStation, you will see a warning message about the single group support. This warning will not occur on subsequent logins.

Before you add a Fiery Central server that you want to monitor, make sure that you have the server DNS name or IP address.

If you type an IP address, the Servers pane will show what you typed. After the server connection has been made and authenticated, the IP address switches to the Fiery Central server name in the Servers pane.
