You can create a booklet by choosing options in the Booklet Maker window.

1. Select the Layout tab in the Job Properties window.
2. Select the Booklet option.
3. Choose one of the following Booklet Type binding methods:
   • Saddle
   • Nested Saddle
   • Perfect
   Note: If your printer is equipped with an advanced finisher, such as a Perfect binder, the option of 1-up Perfect may be available.
4. Select one of the following binding edge options:
   • Left Binding
   • Top Binding
   • Right Binding
5. Specify a paper size:

   • Select from Paper Catalog or Media Catalog (depending on whether Paper Catalog or Media Catalog is supported on the Fiery server).

   • Create a custom paper size.

   • Select Same as document size.

6. Select a Shrink to fit setting to scale down the pages of your document while preserving the aspect ratio of the original document.
7. Select page alignment settings to determine the placement of the page image on the page.

   To compensate for creep (available for Saddle and Nested Saddle booklets), select the setting for your media type:

   • Plain - Select this option for booklets with a large number of pages.
   • Thick - Select this option for booklets printed on thick or heavyweight media. You must also specify the desired thick or heavy media in the Fiery Driver or Job Properties > Media.
8. Specify cover settings (available for Saddle booklets).

9. Click OK to save your settings or select a Print setting to print or process the job.
