Configure Web Services for Devices (WSD)

Web Services for Devices (WSD) allows computers to discover printers and other devices on the network. You must enable port 3702 (WS-Discovery).

Important: There are two versions of Configure and they are specific to the Fiery Server you are connected to. This is a combined procedure that describes what to do when connected to a Fiery Server with FS100/100Pro or earlier, and notes about what to do with FS150/150 Pro or later. If you are not sure which version of Configure you are using, see Which version of Configure am I using?.

From Configure, choose Network > Services > WSD.
Note: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150Pro, you can find settings mentioned in this procedure in Job Submission > Web Services for Devices (SWD) instead.
Select Enable WSD.
Choose the default print connection.
Apply or save your changes.
