Connect to or disconnect from a Fiery Central server
When you connect to a Fiery Central Server, information about the printer groups and the printers in each group is automatically shown in the Servers pane.
Before you add a Fiery Central Server that you want to monitor, make sure that you have the server DNS name or IP address.
If you type an IP address, the Servers pane will show what you typed. After the server connection has been made and authenticated, the IP address switches to the Fiery Central Server name in the Servers pane.
Connect to a Fiery Central server from the network
To connect to a Fiery Central Server from the network, you type the IP address or DNS name and then log in.
Re-connect to a Fiery Central server in the Servers pane
You can log back in to a Fiery Central Server after disconnecting.
Log off the Fiery Central server
The Servers pane allows you to disconnect from a Fiery Central Server.
- Select a Fiery Central Server from the Servers pane.
- Do one of the following:
Click the minus sign icon to disconnect and remove the Fiery Central Server.
Click the disconnect icon located to the right of the minus sign icon.
