Remove users from groups (FS150/150Pro)

You can remove a user from a group. Any jobs that the user has already sent to the Fiery Server are still processed, and the Job Log retains the name of the user with relevant job information.

Important: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150 Pro or later, use this procedure. If you are not sure about which version of Configure you are using, see Which version of Configure am I using?. An alternative procedure about what to do with FS100/100Pro is available.

After you remove a user from a group, the user still remains in the Fiery Contact List.

Note: You cannot remove the default users named "admin" or "operator."

From Configure, select User Accounts.
Select the group in which the user exists.
Move the cursor over the name of the user you want to remove from the group. Notice that the Edit and Delete icons display.
Click the Delete icon. The user is deleted from the group, but not from the Fiery Contact List.
Alternatively, after 2, click the Assign User button and click Add from Contact List.
In the Assign User dialog box, select the check box for users that you want to remove and click Remove User.
