Configure Port 9100

Enabling Port 9100 services allows applications to open a TCP/IP socket to the Fiery Server at Port 9100 to download a print job.

Important: There are two versions of Configure and they are specific to the Fiery Server you are connected to. This is a combined procedure that describes what to do when connected to a Fiery Server with FS100/100Pro or earlier, and notes about what to do with FS150/150 Pro or later. If you are not sure which version of Configure you are using, see Which version of Configure am I using?.
  1. From Configure, choose Network > Services > Port 9100.
Note: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150Pro, click Job Submission > Port 9100 instead.
  2. Select Enable Port 9100 Services.
Note: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150Pro, click Enable instead.
  3. Choose one of the published Fiery Server print connections to which Port 9100 is associated:
    • Direct Connection

    • Print queue

    • Hold queue

In addition to the standard print connections Print queue and Hold queue, published virtual printers (if supported by your Fiery Server) are also listed.

  4. Apply or save your changes.
