Change user attributes (FS150/150Pro)

You can change user attributes, such as the user password and e-mail address. If the user is already logged in, your changes affect the user when the user logs out and logs in again.

Important: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150 Pro or later, use this procedure. If you are not sure about which version of Configure you are using, see Which version of Configure am I using?. An alternative procedure about what to do with FS100/100Pro is available.

To change the default Administrator and Operator passwords, you can use the following procedure or configure a new password .

  1. From Configure, select User Accounts.
  2. Click the Fiery Contact List button.
  3. Move the cursor over the name of a user. Notice that the Edit icon displays.
  4. Click the Edit icon. In the Edit User dialog box, edit user attributes and click Save.
  5. Alternatively, select the group in which the user exists. If you select the Adminstrators group, notice that the column on the left is the Groups column and that the column on the right is the User of Administrators Group. The name of the column on the right changes based on which group you select.
  6. Repeat steps 3-4.
