Configure IPsec (Internet Protocol Security)

If users' computers support IPsec, you can enable the Fiery Server to accept encrypted communications from users.

Important: There are two versions of Configure and they are specific to the Fiery Server you are connected to. This is a combined procedure that describes what to do when connected to a Fiery Server with FS100/100Pro or earlier, and notes about what to do with FS150/150 Pro or later. If you are not sure which version of Configure you are using, see Which version of Configure am I using?.
  1. From Configure, choose Network > Protocol > TCP/IP > IPsec.
Note: If you are connected to a Fiery Server with FS150/150Pro, you can find settings mentioned in this procedure in Security > IPSpec instead.
  2. Select Enable IPsec.
  3. To define the preshared key, type it in the Preshared key box.

If you define the preshared key, all incoming communication that uses IPsec must contain this key.

  4. Apply or save your changes.
