Duplicate names for catalog entries are allowed when you create a new Paper Catalog entry, except on some copiers/printers. On those copiers/printers, duplicate
names are ignored by Paper Catalog.
Note: Only an Administrator can access Paper Catalog Setup.
- Open Paper Catalog from or by clicking the Paper Catalog icon in Job
Center.
- Click Settings in the Paper Catalog menu bar to choose either PPD-based or JDF specifications.
PPD is the default set of media attributes.
- Click the Add
New icon .
- In the New (media)
window, specify the attributes.
You must make a selection for each setting marked with
an asterisk (*).
Note: If you enter an incorrect value for a
media attribute, and move on to another media attribute, the incorrect
media attribute will revert to its previous value.
