Print to virtual printers from Mac computers
Virtual printers allow you to print with predefined job settings.
Contact your administrator for the IP
address or DNS name for the virtual printer because virtual printers are
published on the network.
To print to a published virtual printer from a Mac computer, you install the printer driver and then add the virtual printer.
For information about installing printer drivers, see Printing, which is part of the user documentation set.
Update installable options and print a job
To print to a virtual printer from a Mac computer, you must make sure two-way communication is enabled so any installable options are updated.
