Merge two Media Catalogs

Administrators can import entries from another Media Catalog to create a merged Media Catalog.

Note the following:

If the imported catalog contains an entry that has identical attributes as an entry in the original Media Catalog, the new entry is not imported and the original entry remains intact in the merged Media Catalog.
It is generally not recommended to import paper catalog entries to the Media Catalog. If imported, they may not produce the desired result.

In the Media Catalog window, click Import in the toolbar and choose Merge with Existing....
Navigate to the .xml file on your computer or network that you want to import, and click Open.

Your current Media Catalog is now merged with the one you just selected.

Note: When you merge two catalogs, all color profile associations in the imported Media Catalog are discarded.

Repeat the process for additional Media Catalogs that you want to merge into the existing one.
