Color swatch pages and swatch books

You can print a swatch page for an individual spot color containing all its neighboring spot colors. You can also print a swatch book for a color group containing all of the spot colors in the group or selected colors in the group.

Spot color matching

When you print a spot color swatches or a swatch book, the output profile and the media or substrate source combination are the primary job properties necessary to print accurately. You select the output profile, in the Spot Pro color pane window, and the media tray or media source, in the print swatch book workflow after clicking Print in the toolbar or in the right-click menu. Default job properties for the rest of the settings are used, which do not have considerable impact on the color accuracy.

Calibration

Calibrating the Fiery server ensures consistent and reliable color output. Calibration adjusts for variations in the color output of the printer, which changes over time and under different printing conditions.
