When you create or edit a media catalog entry, you can select from a number of media attributes. To set media attributes for a catalog entry, use the main Media Catalog window or the Edit window.

Mandatory attributes appear with an asterisk (*) next to the name. You cannot leave the field for a mandatory attribute empty.

Media Catalog offers you two sets of media attributes:

• Printer (PPD) based

  The choices listed for each PPD setting are determined by the PPD for the connected Fiery server.

• JDF (Job Definition Format)

  JDF attributes are standard and are not dependent on the connected Fiery server.
