Reset the Media Catalog to factory defaults

Administrators can revert the Media Catalog to its factory default.

Any added or edited catalog entries are lost when you reset the Media Catalog to factory defaults, unless they have been assigned to a job, assigned to a tray, or are locked. To save your customized entries, first export your existing catalog before you reset it to factory defaults.

  1. In the Media Catalog window, click Settings in the toolbar.
  2. In the Media Catalog Settings window, click Reset to Factory Defaults.
  3. Click Yes in response to the alert message.
