Print a color swatch page or swatch book

You can print a color swatch page for a single spot color, or you can print a swatch book for a group of spot colors.

Print a spot color swatch page

When you print a swatch page, you select a spot color and a pattern.

  1. Open Device Center in one of the following ways:
    • Click the More icon (three vertical dots) next to the server name in the Servers pane.
    • Double-click the server name in the Servers pane.
    • Click Server > Device Center.
    • Right-click the server name and select Device Center.
  2. Click Spot Colors under Resources.
  3. Double-click the spot color and click Print.
  4. Select a layout.
    • Color Search Pattern - Prints patches with the same pattern as displayed in the Edit Spot Color or New Spot Color dialog box.

    • Color Neighbor Pattern - Prints the patches in the Edit Spot Color or New Spot Color dialog box in a 3-column by 8-row format.

  5. If you did not already specify the Paper Source in the print settings (Properties), select a paper size and a paper source for printing.
  6. Click Print or OK (whichever is supported by your Fiery server) to print the swatch page.

Print a color swatch book

When you print a swatch book, you select a spot color group and a layout.

  1. In the Spot Colors window, select a color group and do one of the following:
    • To print a swatch book of all of the spot colors in a color group, select the group and click Print.

    • To print a swatch book of selected colors in a color group, select the group in the Spot Colors window, ctrl-click to select the spot colors, and then click Print.

    The Color Swatches 8X8 layout is printed. Color Swatches 8X8 prints patches in an 8-column by 8-row format.

    On a Fiery server running a Fiery system software earlier than FS200/200 Pro, you can choose the Color Swatches 8X4 layout.

  2. If you did not already specify the Paper source in the print settings (Properties), select a paper size and a paper source for printing.
  3. Click Print or OK (whichever is supported by your Fiery server) to print the swatch page.
