Editing or deleting paper catalog entries
With Fiery Command WorkStation 6.8 and later, you can edit or delete a paper catalog entry even if it is a default server setting or assigned to any of the following:
- Job
- Tray
- Smart media
- Preset
- Virtual printer
To edit or delete a paper catalog entry that is associated with a tray, you must first remove the association. For more information, see Remove tray association.
To view all jobs using a particular paper catalog entry, perform an advanced search. For more information, see Search for jobs using a paper catalog entry.
Remove tray association
To remove the tray association, you must do
the following:
- In the consumables area in Fiery Command WorkStation, click the arrow to the right of a tray.
- Click Remove Association.
Edit a Paper Catalog entry
You can edit attributes and values of paper catalog entries.
Note: For jobs that are already in queues, the media attribute columns will be updated
when the job is processed or printed, or when you open the Job Properties
window.
Delete a Paper Catalog entry
You can delete a paper catalog entry in the Paper Catalog window.
Note: After you delete the paper catalog entry, it will no longer be associated with the job.
In the Job Properties window, the Paper Catalog list will display Not
defined.
