Reset the Paper Catalog to factory defaults

Administrators can revert the Paper Catalog database to its factory default.

Any added or edited catalog entries are lost when you reset the Paper Catalog to factory defaults, unless they have been assigned to a job, assigned to a tray, or are locked. To save your customized entries, first export your existing catalog database before you reset it to factory defaults.

  1. Click Settings.
  2. In the Paper Catalog Settings window, click Reset to Factory Defaults.
  3. Click Yes in response to the alert message.
