Manage FreeForm 1 and 2 masters

FreeForm 1 and 2 variable data printing sends the master-element data for the job to the Fiery server and rasterizes it separately from the variable-element data.

The master-element data is stored on the Fiery server in rasterized form as a FreeForm 1 and 2 master, and can be used as often as required with multiple sets of variable-element data.

Once the master is created, use VDP Resources to view FreeForm master thumbnails and manage the master files on the Fiery server.

  1. Connect to the desired Fiery server and click Device Center > Resources > VDP Resources.
  2. To view FreeForm 1 and 2 masters, click FreeForm, select a FreeForm master, and then click List View or Thumbnail View from the View menu (if your Fiery server supports it).
  3. To delete FreeForm 1 and 2 masters, click FreeForm, select a FreeForm language or master file, and then click Delete.
  4. To update current information, click Refresh (if your Fiery server supports it).
