Unpublish or publish size catalog entries

By default, all size catalog entries are published; that is, they are visible and can be selected for a job by users.

You can choose to unpublish an entry listed in the Size Catalog. When a size catalog entry is unpublished, the entry is made unavailable in the list of size catalog entries in Device Center (Size Catalog under Resources). Additionally, the unpublished size catalog entry cannot be selected by the user when specifying a substrate size. In Device Center, select Size Catalog under Resources, and select the Hide Unpublished entries check box to hide unpublished entries.

When an entry, or entries, have been unpublished, you can always publish them again.

Note: If the Size Catalog consists of only one entry, the Publish and Unpublish icons are grayed out (unavailable).
  1. In Device Center, select Size Catalog under Resources, and select the entry or entries you want to publish or unpublish.

    Use Shift-click to select multiple sequential entries, and ctrl-click to select multiple entries that are not sequential.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • To unpublish an entry, click the Unpublish icon on the toolbar.

    • To publish an entry, click the Publish icon on the toolbar.

    Note: You can also right-click a size catalog entry, or entries, and choose Unpublish or Publish.
