Edit nested jobs in Job Editor

In Job Editor, you can edit a nested job. Make sure substrate settings have been selected before editing a nested job.

In Job Editor, you can arrange the placement of the jobs on the media, changing the orientation and alignment. You can also scale, rotate, flip, or crop nested jobs. You can lock each job and define job-specific margins.

  1. In Job Center, do one of the following:
    • Right-click the nested job and select Edit.
    • Click Edit on the toolbar.
  2. In Job Editor, click the Layout icon to display the Nesting pane.
  3. Edit the job as required. Choices are automatically applied.

    You can specify settings from any of the following:

    • Nesting pane accessed from the Layout tab
    • Child Job Information pane accessed from the Layout tab
    • Job Editor menu
    • Job Editor transformation toolbar
