Create a workflow for automatic job merge

You can configure a workflow to automatically superimpose multiple content jobs on one master job.

The following requirements must be met:
  • You must load master and content jobs together.
  • The job names must contain a keyword that is common to both master and content jobs.

The following table gives some examples of job names:

  1. In Server Manager: On the sidebar, click Printers, and select a printer. In the printer's tree view, select a workflow. On the File tab, expand the Job Merge panel. In the panel header bar, select the check box to activate the settings.
  2. Type the file names of your master (background) job and content jobs.
  3. Click Save.

In Job Center, the jobs are merged, and the master job is removed from the job list.
