You can change the default settings for color reference, tolerance set, and
patch set, and save the new settings as a verification preset.
- The color reference is the targeted colors that sample measurements are compared
to. Industry-standard color spaces, such as GRACoL2013 and Fogra 51, comprise
most of the color reference sections.
- A tolerance set is the criteria used to compare a color reference and a
measurement sample.
- The patch set is the defined set of color patches printed to use as the
measurement sample. Industry-standard patch sets, such as Idealliance Control
Wedge 2013, Fogra Media Wedge v3, and IT6.7/4, comprise most of the patch set
selections. Custom patch sets can be imported.

The Verification Preset
Editor window opens.

Under Verification preset, select the preset you want to
edit.

Click the Duplicate button.
A copy of the selected verification preset is created.

Under Verification preset, type a unique name
(optional).

Under Color reference, do one of the following:
- Select an available color reference.
- Click the Add (+) button, and browse to a color
reference appropriate for your color production workflow.
The color reference should match your job's source color profile.

Select a tolerance set appropriate for your color production workflow, and then
click the Duplicate button.

Define custom tolerance limits by editing the default values, and then click
Save.
To edit a value, select the check box next to the tolerance
criterion you want to edit.

Do one of the following:
- Select an available patch set appropriate for your color production
workflow.
- Click the Add (+) button, and browse to a patch
set appropriate for your color production workflow.

Click Save.
