If you have created a custom media profile for your particular print
environment, you must select it in Command WorkStation
before you can apply it to your jobs.
Before you begin: Make sure that the custom
profile and its associated calibration file are located at
C:\ProgramData\EFI\EFI Media Profiles\My Profiles. For more
information on creating a calibration file and media profile, see
Printer calibration.
-
Do one of the following:
- In Server Manager: On the sidebar, click
Printers, and select the printer. In the
printer's tree view, select the media, On the Media
tab, expand the Media Configuration panel.
- In Job Editor: On the
Printer tab, expand the Media
Configuration panel.
- In Job Center: Under Media
Configuration, click Edit.
-
Select an ink type, a media name, and other media settings.
If your media profile incorporates ink saving, select the profile type
Ink Save.
-
Under Resulting calibrations(s), select a calibration
file.
Command WorkStation displays only those
calibration files and ICC profiles that are compatible with the selected
combination of media settings.
Note: You can select an ink saving media profile
even if you do not have an appropriate license. However, an error message is
displayed when you try and process jobs.
-
Click Save.
