Process jobs automatically on import
By default, jobs are imported as "hold" jobs to allow you to edit them before printing. You can configure the workflow to process jobs automatically on import.
You will need to take action on a "Spooled" job, such as selecting Print manually in one of the following scenarios:
- If you drag and drop a job to the All Jobs queue in Command WorkStation when the Put all incoming jobs on hold check box is not selected in the workflow.
- If you import a job, the settings specified in the Import Files window will override the settings in the workflow. For example, if Process and Hold or Hold is selected.
- In Server Manager: On the sidebar, click Printers, and select a printer. In the printer's tree view, select a workflow.
- On the File tab, expand the Job Detection panel.
- Clear the Put all incoming jobs on hold check box.
- Click OK.
