To configure a bidirectional communication between a print MIS device and Command WorkStation, you must activate JDF communication in the software. Bidirectional communication to an MIS system requires an Advanced JDF Option.

1. In Server Manager: On the sidebar, click Server, and then click Server Info & Configuration.
2. Under General settings, enable JDF communication by clicking Start.
