Add or edit barcodes

The barcode identifies the cut-path file of jobs created for various cutters, for example ZCC, i-cut, or EuroSystem OptiSCOUT driven cutters. You can use a manually operated barcode reader or a camera built into the cutter.

Before you begin: Make sure you have configured a cut contour preset and opened the Barcode window.
Command WorkStation generates a new barcode every time a job is processed. The barcode is generated automatically from information taken from the file name, job number, tile ID, and the creation date of the cut file.
  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select Barcode.
    • Open the cut mark options and select Barcode (optional and available only for Fiery XF Cut Server-driven cutters).
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Select the position of the barcode in relation to the image.
    • Select available options for the barcode depending on the cut mark type (optional and only available for Fiery XF Cut Server-driven cutters).
