Configure Cut Server

You must configure a connection to the Fiery server and create a hot folder in Cut Server. Cut Server retrieves the cut files from the hot folder.

Note: Ensure that the Fiery XF server has the appropriate rights to write to the hot folder. Ideally, the hot folder is located on the computer where the Fiery XF server is installed.
  1. Double-click the Cut Server program icon on the desktop.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select the Fiery XF server on which the Cut Server license is activated.
  3. Click Select.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your cutter.
  5. Click Finish. The Cut Server program window opens.
  6. Click Edit > Preferences, and configure a hot folder.
