If a job fails verification, you may be able to improve the result by performing an optimization. The optimization process creates a correction profile that is a better match for the color gamut of the simulation (reference) profile.

1. Do one of the following:
   • In Job Center: In the Job Summary area, click Optimize.
   • In Job Editor: On the Verify tab, expand the Verify Control Bar panel. In the panel header bar, select the check box to activate the settings. Then, click Optimize.
   The Optimize button optimizes one control bar only. The job is reprinted.
2. Repeat the verification procedure until no further optimization is possible.
