Delete a substrate catalog entry

You can delete a substrate catalog entry in the Substrate Catalog window.

  1. In the Substrate Catalog window, select the substrate catalog entry that you want to delete from the list.

    Use shift-click to select multiple sequential entries, and ctrl-click to select multiple entries that are not sequential.

  2. Delete the selected entry in one of the following ways:
    • Click Delete in the toolbar.
    • Right-click the selected entry and select Delete.
  3. If the substrate catalog entry is associated with the following:
    • Job, preset, virtual printer, or a default server setting: A message notifies you that one or more jobs use the substrate catalog entry. Click OK in response to the message.
After you delete the substrate catalog entry, it will no longer be associated with the job. In the Job Properties window, the Substrate Catalog list will display Not defined.
