You can edit a spot color in a job from the Command WorkStation Held list.

1. Select a spooled job in the Held list, and right-click to select Edit Spot color or from Actions > Edit Spot color or click the Edit icon () in the Job Summary pane to open Spot Pro.
   Note: The Edit Spot color option is available only for a PDF job that contains spot colors.

   The Job Summary pane will list the number of available spot colors in the job under Spot color(s).

2. You can do one of the following when editing a spot color in a job:
   Note: The available spot colors in the job are listed and have been associated to the correct spot color library, spot color group, or the named ICC profile.
   • Resolve a missing spot color by adding it to the Fiery server, or aliasing it to an existing spot color on the Fiery server.

     Add a missing spot color by defining the L*a*b*, LCH or device CMYK values and adding it to an existing group or creating a new group to add it to.

     Note: For printers that support CMYK+ configurations, you can define CMYK colorants plus additional colorants.
   • All spot colors can be added to an existing custom group or new custom group. Missing spot colors may be added one by one, by defining or aliasing.
   • Resolve duplicate spot colors when the existing group already has a spot color with the same name as one of the spot colors being saved.

     If a spot color with the same name exists in the existing group, you can choose not to have the existing spot color replaced with the new edits.

   • Manage Alias spot colors. All the Alias mapping that exists on the server is shown. All Alias edits need to be ‘updated’ and may take a while to refresh on the server.
   • For printers that support specialty color, you can add specialty colors to spot colors.
     Note: Specialty colors cannot be turned on or off with the job-based spot color editor, and require to be turned on or off from the job properties.
   • Print a swatch book by printing all the spot colors in the job. Missing spot colors are identified as an 'empty' patch with a cross symbol when they are printed.
3. Click Save to save your changes, click Done to save and apply the changes to the job, and close the Edit Spot Color window, or Cancel to exit without saving.
