Administrators can create virtual printers using step and repeat templates.

1. To create a virtual printer, click New in the toolbar.
2. Specify the following:

   • Printer Name - This is the alphanumeric name of the virtual printer.

     Note: Once a virtual printer has been created or duplicated, its name cannot be changed, although the print settings can be changed.

   • Description - Add or modify comments to describe the virtual printer to users—for example, "company brochure."

   • Job Actions - Select one of the Fiery server actions, such as Hold or Process and Hold.

   • Job Properties - Select Define to access Job Properties. In the Layout tab, select a step and repeat template from the Job Editor Template drop-down menu. Specify other print settings.

   Note: You can lock any job setting by clicking its lock icon.
