Set Verifier preferences
Verifier preferences let you specify default settings for Verifier options.
You can set:
Reference preset - A predefined combination of reference and color bar (set of color patches).
-
Tolerance - A set of tolerance values for pass/fail tests.
Print settings - The Fiery Server for printing, the paper size, and the measurement instrument.
Set a reference preset
A reference preset is a combination of reference and color bar (set of color patches). It specifies what color patches to print and what reference (expected values) to compare the measured values to. You can add a reference preset for each of the combinations that you use frequently.
Set a tolerance set
The tolerance set is used by Verifier to compare measured values to expected values to determine passing or failing results. The tolerance set that you specify for Verifier is automatically applied when the results are displayed. You can select a different tolerance set in the Verifier main screen in the Comparison Settings option.
If you are not sure which tolerance set to use, select ISO 12647-8 Validation Print "Media Wedge". It includes targets for dE, dH, and dCh.
