Import measurements for creating a profile
If you already have measurements in either an IT8 file or a Color Profiler Suite-created ICC profile, you can use those measurements to create a profile. This is a simple way to update an existing profile’s settings without changing its measurement data.
You can import measurements from one or more IT8 files or from a single profile. If you import measurements from more than one file, Printer Profiler uses the average of the imported measurement sets to create the profile. You may want to use the average of multiple measurements if printer output is inconsistent or to create a common profile for multiple printers.
If the import measurements are in the wrong format, a warning appears. The measurement file or files do not contain enough information to create a valid profile. The files must meet these requirements:
Measurement files must conform to the CGATS.17 format.
All of the files together must contain a sufficient number of measurements.
