Set hue, lightness, and chroma of the output color
HLC Entry lets you set the hue, lightness, and chroma (similar to saturation) values of the output color.
A plus sign () to the left of each color bar indicates the source values. A white square () to the right of each color bar indicates the output values of the original profile. A filled square () to the right of each color bar indicates the output values of the edited profile.
The narrow areas of the Lightness and Chroma bars indicate that there are relatively fewer values that are in-gamut. Where the bar is thinnest, there are no in-gamut values.
- Set the Hue value of the replacement color by dragging the filled square () on the Hue bar to move it up or down.
- Set the Lightness value of the replacement color.
- Set the Chroma value of the replacement color.
- If there are no in-gamut values at the Lightness and Chroma setting you want, try adjusting the Lightness and Chroma again.
