Sample a color with a measuring instrument
With a spectrophotometer connected to your computer, you can sample a color
in any place where you see the measuring instrument icon with a “green light” (
) to indicate that the icon
is active.
Note: Before using the spectrophotometer, you
must initialize and calibrate it.
- Click the icon to activate the green light if it is not already displayed.
- Click Instrument, select the EFI ES-2000 or EFI ES-3000, and then click Calibrate. Follow the on-screen instructions for calibrating the instrument.
