You can create a profile for a printer connected to a Fiery XF server. The Fiery XF server must be accessible from your computer over the network.

1. In Fiery Color Profiler Suite, click Printer to start Fiery Printer Profiler and click Print Patches - I want to start from the beginning.
2. In the Welcome window, click Select Fiery Server and select the Fiery XF server from the list. Under Printer description, select the printer to profile.

   If the server is not in the list, click the plus sign to add the server using the IP address or by searching.

3. Select ink, media name, and calibration set appropriate for the printer and the paper that you are using.
4. Select the instrument, patch set, and chart size for printing the profiling measurement pages.

   • If desired, click Settings to configure the settings for the measurement instrument.

   • If desired, click Expert Settings to configure patch pages to print as images or vector graphics.

   If you want to measure multiple sets of pages and then average the measurements into one set of data for creating the profile, specify the number of page sets to print.

5. Retrieve the measurement pages from the printer and follow the on-screen instructions to measure the measurement pages.
6. In the Summary window, check the results.
7. In the Apply Settings window, select the profile settings or import settings from an existing profile.
8. In the Save Profile window, choose Install on XF Server. Make sure the correct Fiery XF server is selected.

   The profile is created and installed on the Fiery XF server.
