Before you add a printer, make sure you have the Domain Name System (DNS) name, IP address, or IP address range to search for the Fiery-driven printer.

If you type an IP address range for searching, a list of printers found within the search criteria is shown. Select a printer from the list.

If you connect to the printer by its IP address or DNS name, then the IP address or DNS name is shown in the Status Bar.

After a printer has been added, you can view information about it, such as consumable status levels, finishing, and mixed page size printing capabilities.
