If you do not have the specific DNS name or IP address of a printer, you can search by ranges.

1. In the Connect to printer dialog box, click the Expand Search arrow to show the search options.
2. Select a Search Type.

   • Auto detect searches for all available printers on the network.

   • Advanced allows you to specify the range of IP addresses that you want to search using the From and To fields.

3. Click Search.

   The available printers that matched the search criteria are shown. A Fiery-driven printer is shown with a icon.

4. Select the printer from the results list, and then click Next to add it to the list of printers.
