Coating
The Coating attribute indicates the type of surface coating to be used for the media.
Choose from the following options:
- None

No coating applied.
- Coated

Uses a surface sealant to render qualities to the media such as surface gloss, smoothness, and weight.
- Glossy

Coating that has a high level of sheen and is very reflective.
- High gloss

Glossiest of all coatings rendering a mirror-like finish. This coating is very reflective and renders a sharp resolution.
- Matte

Non-glossy with very little sheen; also known as "flat". This coating may slightly increase the thickness of the media.
- Satin

Possesses a lower gloss level than a gloss coating but a higher gloss level than a matte coating. Colors appear sharp and vivid on the media.
- Semi-gloss

The gloss level can be placed roughly in the middle between a gloss and matte coating. This coating renders a sharp resolution.
