You can add, update, and delete fonts, as well as print
a font list.
In Configure, make these settings:
Enable . For security reasons, enable the Font Queue
only while installing fonts.
For PostScript fonts, disable .
The PCL option is available on a Fiery server that supports it.
Note: You can also upload and save
PCL soft fonts on a Fiery server.
Note: All Japanese fonts resident on the server or
downloaded by a supported application are locked. Japanese fonts downloaded to the Fiery server can only be deleted by the installing application.

Open Device Center in one
of the following ways:
- Click the More icon (three vertical dots)
next to the server name in the Servers pane.
- Double-click the server name in the Servers pane.
- Click .
- Right-click the server name and select Device Center.

Click .

Select PS Fonts or PCL
Fonts.
A list of the
fonts that currently reside on the Fiery server appears.
For PCL soft fonts,
font IDs are displayed instead of font names.

To add or update fonts, click
Add New. Click Add to locate the font that you wish to
download, and then click OK and
Refresh.
You can add Adobe PostScript
Type 1 fonts.
If your Fiery server supports PCL, you can add PCL
soft fonts. The supported formats for PCL soft fonts are sfp, sfl, sfd, sfs,
sft, hpf, r8p, r8l, usp, usl, and hpp. PCL soft fonts are not removed after
the Fiery server is rebooted or restarted. You
cannot delete PCL soft fonts.

To delete a font, select an unlocked font in the Font List and click Delete. Locked fonts cannot be deleted.

To print the Font List, click Print.

If you added PostScript fonts, re-enable .
