NCR multi-part pad printing workflow

Multi-part pad printing is used for such jobs as multi-part invoices or order forms, or raffle tickets.

Fiery JobMaster provides options to create a NCR (No Carbon Required) multi-part pad printing workflow. Forms or pads can be made up of multiple parts, usually two to four parts, and mixed duplex and simplex. For example, a three-part form may have the first two parts with texts on both sides of the sheet and the third part with text only on the front side.

A possible workflow would incorporate the following steps:

Begin with a job that includes all pages necessary to make one set.
If the job starts with one page, you can duplicate the page by applying Duplicate from the Edit menu to create as many copies as you need to make one set.
Designate which media or tray is required for each page/sheet.
Apply Duplicate Job from the Edit menu to create the number of total sets required.
Apply advanced numbering to custom stamp the pages and sets.
Apply layout using Fiery Impose.

Features that make this workflow possible are:

Duplicate and Duplicate Job in the Edit menu
Duplicate duplicates a form or a part one at a time. To create multiple copies, you have to apply the Duplicate function repeatedly. Duplicate Job duplicates the job as many times as you specify in the Duplicate Job window.
Repeat numbering in the advanced page numbering workflow
You can achieve this through the Select Pages by Range window and the additional page range options available in the Numbering and Stamps pane. An example is Numbering options > Use custom numbering for this range > Times to repeat.
