Add a variable field to a page in a variable data document design.

1. Create or open a variable data document design.
2. Use the navigation bar to navigate to the page where you want to add the variable.
3. In the Design window, find the variable field you want to add. Use the Search for variable fields box located on the left panel of the Design window to search through the variables.
4. Click on the variable and drag it to your desired location on the page.
   Note: When you drag a variable directly into an existing text block, FreeForm Create inserts the variable at the exact text cursor location where you drop the variable.
5. Edit the variable properties listed in the Properties panel as desired.
