Duplex settings in Fiery Impose Plus

Duplex sets how to handle content on opposing sides of a sheet. Duplex options depend on the Fiery server you connect to.

Fiery Impose Plus automatically applies duplex settings for the selected binding method. The Duplex setting in Fiery Impose Plus overrides any Duplex setting performed in Command WorkStation Job Properties.

Perfector is an option available with duplex printing. When you select Perfector, the sheet that is fed into the printer is turned upside down after printing on one side of the sheet. In the Sheet View pane, the back side of the sheet is rotated by 180 degrees. When the sheet is turned upside down, the gripper changes the gripping edge on the sheet. The Perfector option is enabled only when you set the Duplex option to Double-sided Perfector.

Select one of the following:
  • Single-sided - Turns off duplex printing and uses simplex printing.
  • Double-sided Sheetwise - Turns off the Perfector option and rotates the back side of a double-sided job by 180 degrees horizontally.
