Import Finisher Layout

When you export layout settings defined on a supported cut, trim, crease, or fold finisher to a Finisher Layout file, you can create Fiery Impose templates with identical layout settings. When you save the new template, you can apply the layout settings to future jobs without manual setup on the finisher.

By default, the Import Finisher Layout option is not enabled. To enable this option, navigate to the Impose tab of the Preferences window, then choose Finisher Layout Import and select the Allow importing of finisher layout files checkbox. Restart Fiery Impose to apply the change.

Note: The Import Finisher Layout feature is supported only on select Duplo finishers, and importing batch finisher layout files is not supported.

By default, when finisher layout files are imported, they are saved as User Defined (UD) finish size imposition templates. The finish size set in Fiery Impose matches the dimensions of the cut block defined in the finisher layout file. You can change the finish size type to Based on Crop Box if the crop box size of the original PDF is same as the cut block dimensions specified in the imported finisher layout file.
