Pages

Use the Pages module to split a job into multiple jobs or extract pages from a job in a Fiery JobFlow workflow. After the pages from the job are specified, the job is released into the remaining modules in the workflow. The split job or extracted pages will continue in the same workflow. Master Variables are supported for all settings in the Pages module.

The Pages module has the following settings:

  • Split Job: Specify where to split a job to create multiple jobs in a workflow. Fiery JobFlow will automatically name split jobs with the filename and the page range.
    • After every 'n' page: Specify the number of pages to split a job. For example, you can split a job with 100 pages into 10 separate jobs. When you click Change variables, you can specify the number where a job should split.
    • At bookmark level: Specify to split the job at the PDF bookmark level. You can specify the bookmark level by clicking Change variables.
    • After page number: Specify pages where the job should be split. You can split a job by specific pages and page ranges by clicking Change variables.
  • Extract Pages: Specify pages to keep in a job or remove from a job.
    • Keep pages: Specify pages or page ranges in a job to continue in the workflow. Pages not specified will not be retained in the job. You can specify the page number and page ranges to keep by clicking Change variables.
    • Remove pages: Specify pages to delete from a job. Pages not specified will continue in the workflow. You can specify the page number and page ranges to remove by clicking Change variables.
