Use Master Variables

  1. In the Workflows tab of the Fiery JobFlow workspace, click the name of the workflow whose module settings you need to override. The workflow opens listing the modules.
  2. If the workflow has either the Correct, Preflight, Connect, or Output modules, click the plus sign of the module above and add the Connect module. The Connect module creates a JSON file and saves it in a predefined location (Vault folder).
  3. Access the JSON file and update the settings according to the requirements of the job.
    Note: If you enter values that are not within the supported range of the setting, the job will fail when it is processed.
  4. Submit the job to the workflow. The job is processed using the updated settings. The updated values and the Master Variables icon are displayed next to the setting that has been updated.
Note: Fiery XF does not support Master Variables.
